An Afternoon Cowl

An Afternoon Cowl

I saw this beautiful cowl on Moogly a couple days ago and I could not resist. It uses bulky weight yarn, I used Lion Brand Yarn Tweed Stripes in Woodlands. When I did mine skipped the foundation single crochets, and did a basic chain stitch followed by a row of single crochets. I also added 16 stitches to the foundation chain so it would be longer. This pattern was really easy to work and I was able to do it in about 2 hours. Next time I would like to try making it into an infinity scarf.

This was also the first time I worked with Lion Brand Tweed Stripes. This yarn was super easy to work with and I was really happy with the way it worked up with this pattern.  The Woodlands color is really pretty for fall, mostly browns, tans, coppers, and blues.

If you happen to work up this pattern comment with the type of yarn you used. I would like to make it again and would love any recommendations.

Thanks and Happy Hooking,
~Megan
